it all Started in our parent's kitchen in 2017 with the Chili Chipotle Sauce

Darlene became lactose intolerant in 2015 and couldn’t eat the sauces she used to eat in the past. Diane developed a sensitivity to gluten and then turned to a plant based diet, and Daphne’s daughter was born with an egg allergy. We tried multiple store bought sauces, but most of them had egg, dairy, or sugar. The ones that didn’t weren’t very tasty at all.

One day, Darlene decided to make a homemade chili chipotle sauce and the whole family LOVED it! We finally found a sauce that all of us enjoyed, regardless of our dietary restrictions. We shared the sauce with our extended family and friends and received a lot of positive feedback. That’s when we knew that we had to share our sauce with the rest of the world - it was only fair.

The three of us teamed up to create a brand that resembled our Sister Story - SISTRY

We know that there are so many people who have different allergies and that there are so many people making the plant-based shift, so it was time. Creating a clean vegan product is very important to us for many reasons — when we fuel our body with clean foods, we improve heart and brain health, help build stronger immune systems and increase energy levels.

We believe that the choices we make about what we eat, where it comes from, and how it’s prepared, have a direct and powerful impact on the health of individuals, communities, and the environment.
